Alice Springs Desert Park

Earlier this month our family went to the Alice Springs Desert Park.  For $40 we paid for a Territorian pass, and are now entitled to attend at any time for one year (two adults and two children under 5).

The Park (and a Territorian pass) is a must for any family in Alice.  It is an amazing place, and helps to explain why Alice is such a great place to raise a family.  There are many interesting facts, and the facilities and buildings in the Park are great.

Some people don’t appreciate the scenery and environment of Alice and its surrounds.  I think it is breath-taking – the contrasts, colours, plants and animals.  Some people see it as just plain rocks and shrubs.  The Park illustrates how our environment is so rich and vibrant.
